Privacy

Stealthpin doesn't collect anything about you. There's no account, no analytics and no tracking, in the app or on this website.

The Mac app

• Your bookmarks, favorites, recorded trips, history and settings are stored on your Mac and never leave it.
• Stealthpin talks to your iPhone directly, over the cable or your own Wi-Fi network, through pymobiledevice3 running on your Mac.
• Searching for places, finding routes and naming places on the map use Apple Maps, the same as the Maps app. Those requests go to Apple and are covered by Apple's privacy policy.

The iPhone remote

• Stealthpin Remote only talks to Stealthpin on your Mac, over your local network, using the PIN you enter.
• When you record a trip, the recording stays on the phone until it's sent to your Mac, and goes nowhere else.

This website

stealthpin.com has no cookies and no analytics. It's hosted by Vercel, which keeps standard server logs. To show the current version next to the download button, your browser asks GitHub for the latest release. Downloads come from GitHub.
